انسان تاریخ میں صحیح طرف تھا یا غلط طرفMan has been on the right side or the wrong side in history.

ٹیپو سلطان کو جس نے دھوکا کیا تھا  وہ میر صادق تھا اس نے سلطان سے دغا کیا اور انگریز سے وفا کی انگریز نے انعام کے طور پر اس کی کئی پشتوں کو نوازا۔ انہیں ماہانہ وظیفہ ملا کرتا تھا مگر پتہ ہے جہان! جب میر صادق کی اگلی نسلوں میں سے کوئی نہ کوئی ہر ماہ وظیفہ وصول کرنے عدالت آتا تو چپڑاسی صدا لگایا کرتا

"میر صادق غدار کے ورثاء حاضر ہوں"

ایک آنسو ان کی آنکھ سے پھسلا اور تکیے میں جذب ہو گیا۔

"میرے بیٹے میری بات یاد رکھنا ، جیسے شہید قبر میں جا کر بھی سیکڑوں سال زندہ رہتا ہے، ایسے ہی غدار کی غداری بھی صدیوں یاد رکھی جاتی ہے۔ دن کے اختتام پر فرق صرف اس چیز سے پڑتا ہے کہ انسان تاریخ میں صحیح طرف تھا یا غلط طرف۔

The one who betrayed Tipu Sultan was Mir Sadiq. He betrayed the Sultan and the British who were loyal to the British rewarded many of his backs.  He used to get a monthly stipend but the world knows!  When one of the next generations of Mir Sadiq came to the court every month to receive a stipend, he would shout.
